I am proud to have been named a 2010 Five Star Wealth Manager in the areas of financial planning, investments, estate planning and long term care.   The recognition was in February’s Boston Magazine.  Of the nearly 15,000 wealth managers in the Boston area, only 4% (536) made this year’s list.

I began my financial services career in 1994.  I founded Strong Financial Group, a fee-based financial planning and wealth management firm, in 1999.   Over the years, my greatest satisfaction has come from helping clients obtain the knowledge they need to make wise choices to reach their financial goals.  To that end, I began publishing a weekly email newsletter, Money Tips Online, in 1999.  That newsletter morphed into this blog.

I’m a  member of the Financial Planning Association, the Financial Services Institute, the Boston Estate Planning Council and the American Association for Long Term Care Insurance.

In addition to movies and vacationing on the Cape, my spouse and I are wicked crazy about football.  I think the NFL should add two games to the regular season, even though that would extend the overlap with the NBA.  (Each team could have another bye week and the Super Bowl would be closer to Valentine’s Day.   How perfect!)
